My "no-spin zone"

by Chas. P., Unknown News

Aug. 1, 2005

Every day hundreds of commentaries, articles, essays, and blogs are published on the internet debating Bush's actions with respect to terrorism, Iraq, imperialistic US policies, etc. Opinions are pro this, con that, and the gray moral middle.

My "No Spin" bottom line is simple: George W. Bush is
a murderer.

There may be other charges to add to the list, but there is no

 murder

 n.   The unlawful killing of
 one human by another ...
need to go any further. Every new lie Bush spews attempting to justify himself compounds the guilt, because every day more Iraqis are illegally killed -- but the first murder was sufficient to establish Bush as a murderer.

George W. Bush is a murderer.

I don't need to refer to how bad Saddam is, or the crimes of Muslims. I don't need to compare Bush's actions to anyone else's. His actions stand, regardless of the actions of others:

George W. Bush is a murderer. That is the reality. That is the bottom-line fact.

Given that fact, we can address the guilt or innocence of his accomplices in aiding his schemes, the Congress in funding and prolonging them, and other nations' leaders for either joining the crime spree or ignoring it.

To call Bush's bootlicks in Congress liars and graft-artists hardly adds to their guilt, but greatly increases our own, for if We the People are more outraged by pork-barrel politics and graft than we are about having a government of murderers, then that convicts us: we *are* the "they."

So let's just keep it dirt-simple, and not get lost in the forest of propaganda and ongoing events: George W. Bush is a murderer.

We should not be confused and distracted by all of the side shows -- Judge Roberts, Bolton, Stem Cells, Energy Bill, blah-blah-blah. We have a murderer in the White House! As far as I am concerned, there ought to be no business as usual, no NOTHING, not even a federal budget bill passing, until we deal with the main problem at hand.

There can be no appeasing a murderer, for if left to kill again he will -- and he will steal your money at the same time too.

I don't give a shit what he says on TV or what the churchies say to support his policies, he's a murderer. Remember the 10 Commandments, "Thou Shalt Not Kill"?

There can be no good fruit from a poison tree, no matter how much fertilizer gets spread around. Uproot the tree, burn it, and then plant a new one.
