Weapons und special ops

by The American Insurgent, Unknown News

Aug. 29, 2006

A productive insurgency is all about weapons. Why, weaponry gives an effective insurgency its bite. Teeth if you will. The American Insurgent celebrates weaponry and uses only the very best in available weapons.

The single most effective and available weapon used by today's American insurgent is the dictionary. Merriam Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary, Tenth Edition, is highly obtainable and mobile. Now I'm vaguely certain that there is an Eleventh Edition and possibly a Twelfth Edition, however that is mostly irrelevant. For insurgency purposes, any damn dictionary can and should be put into "action" and used daily. Words are the ammunition of choice for any thinking insurgent. A good and available thesaurus is also a "weapon" of decent choice. Manny's Hip 'n' Hop Street Thesaurus and Catalog of Creative Wording is highly desired by any busy insurgent and can be pressed into a "hot zone" in an insurgent blink.

An effective and productive insurgency and the accompanying insurgent corps will have at their disposal "intelligence/information." Accurate information is as important as any available tool the effective insurgent might care to deploy. It is highly recommended here that any reasonable insurgent avoid mainstream media for intelligent informational help, especially CNN and the New York Times. Mainstream media has sold its journalism soul to corporate special interest, and coupled with government propaganda that mainstream media serves up as "news you can use," the budding insurgent can be caught looking the moronic fool simply by the constraints placed on an insurgency for association with dimwitted spin.

Facts, ma'am, nothing but the facts. Get real news you can use off the internet, and there are copious resources available that are reliable and accurate.

Additionally, one may care to acquire a library card. Libraries are still an open source for books, thoughtful information, quiet time, some fine jazz that one might not find elsewhere, and libraries are a code red hot zone for 'babes'. The American Insurgent is all over babe librarians. The American Insurgent is not above a little lust in the literary dust.

The American Insurgent is 'special ops'. That's the whole point and purpose, if you will. Sticking it to the man and your basic overloading on injustice will fuel and drive any insurgency. Here are some pointers and general suggestions that aspiring insurgents might possibly 'ops' and still manage to keep one's ass out of detention, Guantanamo, and/or prison. It is always best to avoid detention and the accompanying torture sessions that have drawn current political vogue in America and around the globe. Cattle prods and water-boarding, yikes!

Use that aforementioned library card and check out The Anarchist's Cookbook, and two or three days later turn it back in, and then check it out again. Check out the writing of Che Guevara, Eldridge Cleaver, and Robert Bork. Be sure to check out books on nuclear physics, thermodynamics, and Gas Centrifuges For Dummies 101 at the same time. This is America and libraries are open and free. That is the theory. Visit bookstores and ask for the comprehensive works of Poncho Villa and Oliver North. Visit a college library and ask for the biography of Fidel Castro and the authorized biography of Ronald Reagan.

Practice 'freeway blogging' often. Be creative with flyers and insist on "the impeachment of George Bush." Champion an amendment to our Constitution that makes it illegal to be a war criminal and hold elected office at the exact same time.

Send flowers to Caterpillar Corporation and sign the card 'from Rachel Corrie

and I forgive you!' Special ops is only limited by the insurgent imagination. Be creative, be persistent. Most importantly, flaunt authority — but do it legally. America is still the land where "freedom of speech" shouts loud. That's the premise. Freedom of speech is the pièce d' resistance of any good insurgency, so use that freedom of speech until the tyrants gag on their own repression.

Next time from The American Insurgent — Republicans and nudity, not for the faint of heart!
