So you think you're going to change things?

Prior to the invasion of Iraq and shortly thereafter, a number of large
anti war demonstrations took place in Washington DC. Despite the fact
that large numbers of citizens rallied to protest the war, with an
estimated 200,000 protesters at one demonstration alone, only a handful
of politicians showed up to address the protest.
We must ask
ourselves, what is the point of voting for and electing individuals to
represent us when they choose to blatantly ignore almost a quarter
million of their constituents massed within sight and earshot of their
offices?
And now, a mere few years later, the same Washington
politicians who ignored the will of the people then, are once again
asking for our votes. I say fuck them!
The duplicitous bootlicking
cowards deserve to go down with the ship along with their war criminal
masters in the White House. Remember, the majority of the members of
Congress who are up for election are the same spineless jellyfish who
voted for and supported the illegal and unjustified aggression against
Iraq. That's right my friends, the same miserable collection of empty
suits who enthusiastically parrot the lies and distortions of the truth
as scripted by the Bush Junta. The same folks who, to the detriment of
the American people, rubber stamp every draconian piece of legislation
Bush and Cheney put before them.
And let me remind you brothers and
sisters that these are the same turncoats who shamelessly swear their
allegiance to the Zionist criminals in Tel Aviv, giving billions of
American taxpayer dollars to finance Israeli military aggression,
genocide, and ethnic cleansing, while ignoring the needs of the American
people and the Constitution they have sworn to uphold.
Now that things
are going badly for the Bush Regime, a lot of the ass kissers, mostly
Democrats, are jumping ship. It wasn't too long ago these chickenhawks
were talking tough about the war, and standing in solidarity with Bush.
Ah, how things have changed. Now they say they oppose the war and want
to pull the troops out of Iraq.
Where were they in 2003 and 2004 when
the big anti war demonstrations were taking place? They did not need the
anti war crowd then, but they need them now to get elected, and believe
me, that's the only reason.
We have to understand who these people are
and what their game is, and it certainly is not representing us. They are
very much aware that being a Congressman or a Senator can be a very
lucrative position financially. They are in a position to pull
strings, and the special interest groups and powerful lobbies pay well.
Most of our elected representatives are already millionaires. They will
do anything if the price is right, including selling out our economy and
using our military as mercenaries. Nothing is below these unethical
bastards.
They could care less about the bloodshed in Afghanistan and
Iraq, and would keep the goddamned war going forever if the polls were
favorable. What matters to them is their hold on political power, and the
perks which come along with it.
When was the last time you were inspired
by the leadership of any of our elected leaders? Just take a look at
these parasites, standing in front of the flag in their designer suits
and expensive toupees, telling us we have to tighten our belts. Do we need
to vote these criminals back into office to continue ripping us off? I
say no!
We need a change in the way politics is conducted in this
country and neither the Democrats or Republicans are capable of
change. Therefore, we must stop playing their game, otherwise they will
just keep screwing us.
I ask you, are things going to get better after
this next election? Will the Democrats, despite what they are saying,
immediately put an end to the war and pull the troops out of Iraq? Will
the Democrats reverse the failed policy of free trade and bring good
paying jobs back to America? Are the Democrats going to cut our taxes?
Will they throw out the PATRIOT Act, and the Military Commission Act as
un-Constitutional? Will the Democrats rid America of the de facto
dictatorship which presently occupies the White House?
No, they will
not! Like always, they will talk the talk, but they won't walk the walk.
My Friends, both major political parties are no longer interested in
doing the business of the people, therefore the people should not
support them. Power to the people, boycott the vote Nov 7th!
