Iraq, a diminishing deterioration

by Don Nash, Unknown News       Dec. 11, 2006

It's out, it's a hit, and it's rocketing up the charts to number one with a bullet. It's The Iraq Study Group Report, and it's just in time for Christmas. Buy one, no, buy two or three and you can get them right
this very minute on Slam-a-zon dot com and have your credit card ready.

George of the bungle didn't have to buy his copy, no, he of the preemptive shock and awe got his for free. George even had the ten authors of the "Report" autograph his copy. What a maroon.

The "Report" is spell-binding and screed-a-licious and banal and bereft of morality and it will make you laugh, cry, and it'll become a part of you. Sure it will. Lee Hamilton says, "Rally around the report boys, 'cause it's all we got!" America is saved! Curious though, America shouldn't even be in Iraq and the Study Group glossed over that part with a vengeance.

James Baker says, "The Report is not a fruit salad!" Gosh, Mr. Fixer, it isn't? George of the bungle says he liked some parts of your miraculous report, but not all of it. Tony 'lap-doggy' Blair says, "I think the Report is terrific!" As Tony the lap dog was telling the world how terrific the "Report" is and standing next to George of the bungle, George of the bungle chimes in with his usual, "it's al Qaeda!"

During the interim, another several hundred Iraqi men, women, and children are horribly slaughtered and ten, no fifteen, no maybe it's twenty young American service personnel are killed and a hundred or so are horribly maimed for life. James Baker is right, the Report is not a fruit salad.

The Report is a scathing indictment of a lying president, vice-president, secretary of state, secretary of defense, and an inclusive number of assistant secretaries of this and that and to the last of a contemptuous lot, they are war criminals each and every last contemptible one of them. Maybe Baker/Hamilton should have sub-titled their treatise, War Criminal Salad/Surgery. America's tax dollars paid for this ode to insanity, so did you get your money's worth America?

Golly Jim, Lee, ex-Justice Sandy D, why all the fancy dancing around the painful facts of the matter? How about a simple report that simply says, bring America's boys and girls home?

Iraq is a horrible lying disaster and America can't fix what George of the bungle has managed to break. Remember when Colin Powell told George of the bungle that if he (George) broke Iraq, he'd own it? Iraq is what is lovingly referred to in the military as FUBAR. Military translation would be, 'fucked up beyond all recognition'!

Genocidal George will of course ignore the Baker/Hamilton Report and Congress will stand before America with those congressional heads planted firmly in a congressional anus and more of America's boys and girls will die and worse. More taxpayer money will be squandered down the Iraq sink-hole of genocidal despair and Iraq and the greater Middle East will be lost to the fires of civil war hell.

When the dogs of civil war are unleashed from the kennels of hate, how is anyone going to manage to tame their madness or re-kennel the hounds of hatred? George of the bungle hasn't got the slightest clue and even after Mr. Fixer has laid out a plan for our president vain-glorious, incurious George will dismiss that relief out of hand and wander down the incredulous path of bloody self destruction. George is after all, the "decider." Well of course he is.

Congress will have to force Bush's hand and cut the war funding off at the pump. Will Congress have the balls for leadership that bold and courageous? Don't anyone hold their respective breath. You'd turn blue and I'm not talking Blue Dog Democrats.

Anyone willing to bet that James Baker isn't planning any hunting trips with Deadeye Dick Cheney in the not to distant future? Not even Alan Simpson will go hunting with Deadeye Dick. Simpson and Cheney are home-boys from way back.
