Dialogue: Letters to the editor

War -- what is it good for?

PERMANENT LINK

When I listened to Bush's last sermon on the troop 'Surge' if I closed my eyes I'd swear I was hearing LBJ's same winded speech about troop escalation back in the mid 60s, and why it' was so important to keep it OVER THERE so we would never have to fight it on American soil.

Things just don't change much, do they? And so it's just a little piece of history repeated. Now this big fool has got us knee deep in the Big Sandy and he says it's time to push on!

War -- what is it good for? The war profiteers, the share holders, the radio shills, the neocons' favorite no-bid contractors and the undertakers and coffin makers. All the politicians who took all

You are scared to believe the truth.

You don't want them knocking down your door, but the very fact that you are frightened of this means down deep you know they have too much power, they are out of control.

You know what they did, but damn there's too much to give up if you admitted that they have committed crimes.
the PAC money. Which once again brings to mind PNAC, the Project for a New American Century. These neocons who enslave us just can't wait for this new century to really begin. A century that last a millenium.

Where the US is feared and hated by everyone, the New America where its currency is still controlled and manipulated by the Feds, worthless pieces of paper from a bankrupt once-great country, only to be devalued more and more every day till a new currency is thrust upon us and dubbed 'The Amero'

The new American century where its citizens who dissent are thrown into work camps, the new American century where next generations are subject to more mind control, brainwashed consumers of useless stuff they've been bullshitted to believe they must have, only to become slaves to their useless paying jobs, that barely keep their heads above water because the good jobs have been outsourced to another slave empire.

In this brazen new 21st century, medical outsourcing is disguised as medical tourism, another con job invented to help insurance companies pull a fast one on their customers. Welcome to HMO's that have a catch 22 attached to them, this is where they call all the shots, take full advantage of us when we are sick and desperate, redefining preexisting conditions so you can still get that needed heart surgery or hip transplant as long as you go thousands of miles, spend serious 20 hour journeys out of the US, where you can get that operation for a fourth of the price the insurers would normally pay here if they were not so goddamn greedy and really cared about their clients' welfare but they are to busy in this new century getting their fat rich asses richer.

Yes, the free market, free for only a chosen few. This NWO lot, that ignore the earth's warnings and denies its drastic changes because they disagree about the whys and wherefores, telling us it does not change a single thing because after all it's cyclical and it's all happened before...

All the while with each passing global earthshattering storm more and more costly damage sends more and more humans and animals out in the streets. But alas, this brave new world that awaits us is fifty percent here. Little by little bit by bit feeding it to us by the spoonful, most of us are getting a little bit too used to its taste and by the time our stomachs feel the fullness it will be too late to cough it up.

Revolution, you say? You can't make comfortably numb brainwashed robots want to rebel. Hey, wait for the next election, that's the way the slaves define revolution these days!

And so that is and was their goal.

Deadly day in Iraq leaves 109 dead

I sent this to two deniers. Mass concentration...? of dead people...

I did not take part in last night's Prayer on Coast to Coast that asked that the killing stop in Iraq ... And even if four months from now we do see fewer troops and Iraqi civilians getting killed, you know darn well who will take credit for it don't you? Bush and his pals, but it's not going to happen.

My neighbor's son is anxious to get home and start some kind of life. He lost both of his legs and his hand and half his face, so many thousands like this... how many pats on the back are going to give him a decent life?

No No No No No more! I am not, have not, and never will ask this of them or any one. I am not worth it. I have NO right to ask this of any one. While I'm home and around me people are buying news cars and placing stupid senseless stickers on their homes and cars and walking around like nothing is wrong. Thank God some people are coming to their senses, maybe they can't sleep, maybe they found a conscience, the one Bush will find 15 years down the line when he writes his tell-all book. Too late then. It's always too late when a person is finally willing to face the truth.

War is not the answer. It's the problem!

Question these so called leaders, hold them accountable, never trust them, they are liars! Liars always change their story when they're confronted with the facts. No more BS, no more lies, no more war profiteers, they are causing the blowback for all the tomorrows to come. The permanent bases are there, Bush never mentions that, none of the politicians do!

You call it government? You say our government would never do this to us? Puppet governments do anything they are told to do. They are not for us. They work against us. They make the smoke, provide the mirrors that cloud your vision.

When you finally wake up, how will you protect yourself and the ones you love? How will you apologize to everyone for not waking up in time?

You are scared to believe the truth. You don't want them knocking down your door, but the very fact that you are frightened of this means down deep you know they have too much power, they are out of control. You know what they did, but damn there's too much to give up if you admitted that they have committed crimes.

I know how you feel. These are demons, so many demons you have to deal with, I don't blame you! That's why I'm glad I'm not well off. I'm used to living modestly. I like it that way. It keeps me in charge, it keeps my soul free.

They can not bomb the world into peace, but they are bombing it into pieces. What kind of Karma does the bring back to us?

Iraqis will never accept this sellout to the oil corporations

And why should they, it's their oil!

That's right, neocons, tell us again why they hate us...

This one gets The Weekly Swine award.

Please don't send attachments or other cr*p we don't want.

If you're trying to reach us but getting no reply, it's probably because you've sent us cr*p we don't want, so we're filtering your emails into the trash, unopened and unread.
