Here's your gun, go to war now

by Kathy Fisher, Unknown News       March 1, 2007

They're sending troops to Iraq with less training. Yeah, less training! Less training to stay alive, and get home in one piece? Fat chance! When they get shipped off to the most dangerous MF-ing part of the planet they are on their own!

It really sickens me to see this reality show on TV. The after effects of this war, as all the other wars, is just as painful to witness and no matter how horrible the narrators always have to make sure they mention how this poor soul wanted to be there with his buddies and how much he loves fighting for his country.

It seems to make these people feel like they are better people having said the things they just said. They never ever point the finger of blame to the sons of bitches who put him there for no good reason except to make his neocon oil tycoon buddies richer! These presstitutes always go with the flow, mentioning as many times as possible how it is for the war on terror, for freedom for the Iraqis, and all the rest of the Bushit!

That's about all we get broadcast on our sorry ass version of what's being called the news these days. We're granted a 5 minute look at a 20 year old soldier who for the last two years has basically been

U.S. troops forgo training
in rush to 'surge' in Iraq

Excerpt: Rushed by President Bush's decision to reinforce Baghdad with thousands more U.S. troops, two Army combat brigades are skipping their usual session at the Army's special training range in California. They are now making preparations to leave their home bases.

Some in Congress and others outside the Army are beginning to question whether that decision means the Army is cutting corners in preparing soldiers for combat. The desert training was designed specially to prepare soldiers for the challenges of Iraq.

trying to get the proper rehabilitation after a serious brain injury due to almost being blown to bits over in that hell known as Iraq. They had to remove part of his skull so what was left of his brain could heal, and after that crisis passed they made him a
plastic skull to replaced the damaged one. But the huge bureaucracy is as fucked up as it ever was, full of endless red tape and catch 22s, and this poor grateful patriot veteran is only asking for a chance to get back on his feet and get on with what's left of his life.

But now it's endless hours of trying to make due with what was lost over there. Now at home living with his parents in the trailer park, trying to salvage what is left of his life. Welcome home, hero, this is

what's waiting for you and your buddies! Ask that neighbor whose home is draped with the flags and the Support The Troops stickers on their new car if they would drive you to your doctor's appointment while your mom goes back to work. Maybe they can help you get a minimum wage job.

This is all so typical -- who does the dirty work for these who would have us go to war in their place? Don't tell me things have changed. With every war it's worse!

And what's that I heard those right wing talk show hosts say over and over about it's not the working poor and uneducated that are in this military this time My ass it's not! On one side of their hypocritical mouths they say ''Hey they volunteered, they knew what they were up against'' and the other side of their mouths they say ''I'm proud of you brave men and women and I support your mission''

A word of advice to you mothers and fathers out there, before you pat your kid on the back and say how proud you are of them for want to sign up to this canard. Take them into a veteran's hospital PRONTO! ASAP! Show them what happens in war. It's your solemn duty as a parent to show them both sides, now, while they are still healthy and unharmed. Don't let them learn the hard way, coming home all messed up, confused and full of hate or worse the knock at the door and that letter that reads, "We regret to inform you..." followed by a coffin-draped in the American flag.

You kept your kids from harm all these years, you brought them to the scared straight programs at school when they were youngsters. You made them wear a helmet when they got their first bike, and reminded them to buckle their seatbelts when they learned to drive, and now do you want to throw them in front of a truck and tell them they won't get run over?

Is that what those first nineteen years was about? Looking forward to future with no grandchildren, or due to the DU (depleted Uranium) they're all breathing in over there, how about grand children with horrendous birth defects? Are you looking forward to wiping tears from a widowed bride's eyes? Teaching your sons and daughters to walk again with one leg and half their brains blown away?

Don't give these corrupt demons any more of your sons and daughters to be used for cannon fodder! All so we can put a few more gallons of that crap those dinosaurs left behind in cars we're still paying for?

All because a pResident and a bunch of greedy warmongering heartless fools decided to unleash hell on the whole world!

I want you to look me straight in the eye without tearing up, and tell me this shit of a lie of a war is worth your kid's life!
