There are all those sheep that are on a conveyor belt to hell, and they
don't even realize it. How could they, all the time shopping for crap that
makes them happy for a short time.
Most take the everyday mundane habits in
life for granted. Going to work packed like sardines in the trains and
subways, driving one handed on the steering wheel and the other
blathering nonsense into their cell phones, bragging about the lousy two
weeks worth of down time their unimportant jobs give them... They have
little patience and tunnel vision, they are unaware or

simply don't give
shit about the real problems in the world they are living in.
Meanwhile, thousands of miles away in a land they couldn't even find on a
map, lives are ending in a flash on a battlefield so unimaginable to
their dumbed-down and drained of any common sense minds. Their sacrifice to
these poor souls is to occasionally blurb some unintelligible ''Wow,
that's horrible,'' and place a Support

the Troops sticker on their car. That's about it. That's their insurance card that shows they acknowledge
something they know nothing about.
In between these mass produced idiots there are the people whose lives
have been touched in the wrong way. They have been forced to notice the
wars going on, because they have a family member stuck in this
madness. They think about it every day. They watch the minutes on

the
clock and the days, weeks, and months on the calendar go by, missing their
loved ones, praying they will come home again. They know what it feels
like to sacrifice in this thing that's plagued us all, called the
war on terror.
Then there's you and me. We blog and write commentary. We cry and
get angry and demand the truth from these bastards who keep on lying
like it was second nature to them. We stand in the rain and snow and heat
with signs in hand, protesting this war. We argue with people who just
don't understand what's coming down the pike. We wear our outrage like a
medal of courage, on a mission to end the injustice committed in
our names.
Not like those who scream back at us and say we're wrong
and anti American.
They hate us and would love to lock us up forever. The war is
right, they say, and it will be won. They tell us we are hurting the troops for doing
what we feel we must!
I'll just leave you all with this.....

People keep on learning
Soldiers keep on warring
World keep on turning
cause it won't be long.
| | Powers keep on lying
While your people keep on dying
world keep on turning
cause it won't be long
|
| | I'm so darn glad he let me try it again
Cause my last time on earth I lived a whole world of sin
I'm so glad that I know more than I knew then.
Gonna keep on trying' Till I reach the highest ground.
|
| | Lovers keep on lovin'
believers keep on believin'
Sleepers just stop sleepin'
Cause it won't be long
Oh no! it won't be long!

... Thanks, Stevie Wonder, we needed that one ...
