My friends, we are preaching and singing in the same choir. We make each other feel good because we stand together in our outrage, and though we send our endless rants to the congress critters and their partners in crime in the "mess media" we still feel useless.
Although our essays are published and sometimes read by the very people we want to reach, most of the time our rants stay in our own circle of truth warriors. We are left holding the bag, doing the work of our lazy-ass fellow Americans who remain un-interested and un-changed by the events going on around them.
These lemmings who seem to be living in their own private Idaho either purposely choose to ignore the horrendous crimes being committed in our names. They just go with the flow and do as they are told. They would leave our cause to the wind.
Frankly, my disgust with them almost always overwhelms my anger and disgust with the so-called leaders of our nation. I see so much hypocrisy and apathy, and I'm sick of people writing back to me with excuses for them.
Why are we so different? What part of our brain is turned on,
|
| while that part of their brain is turned off altogether? We comrades come from all walks of life, yet we are of like minds -- we see through the lies, but more importantly, we have the integrity to challenge the lies in the first place.
When I go outside of our circle and tend to my outside needs, I find myself hurrying back to my world of comfort. The few times a day where I must venture out to please my indulgences or fulfill my necessities are enough to make me scream.
Maybe if the war and the lies were a giant impending snowstorm or a category 4 hurricane, approaching fast upon us, people would react according, by running to the store for provisions like the trained scared civilians they have become. I don't know! But I picture them doing nothing more than that. No preparations. No concern.
Are they stupid? Are we just smarter? Are they more susceptible to brainwashing then we are? I know one thing -- while they are pissing me off to the extreme, they will never come between me and the quest for the truth.
