A sin and a travesty

by Kathy Fisher  (klfisher@webtv.net)
Unknown News      June 14, 2007

I feel something is going to happen soon or before the summer is over. Harder times are ahead of us and we need each other more than ever now!

A shitty little country in the middle east holds its people prisoner. If they disagree and want the fighting stopped, if they go out into the streets to protest, they are
dismissed and ignored.

The dictators that rule Israel have blackmailed every administration in the US and
they have held our nation prisoner for too damn long! Every inner-city school suffers while these bastards take our tax dollars for their tanks, bombs, their armies, their perpetual war machine that kills the innocent who are made examples after one suicide bomber gets his/her fill of the forever occupation. They tell our treasonous leaders to jump, and our leaders ask how high?

Now the Neocons have us in a war, destroying a country the Zionists hate. They have our leaders eating out of their hands. Former PM Benjamin Netanyahu is insisting we should bomb Iran because they are a threat to Israel's existence, and you can bet your ass Bush and his cronies will hop to it real soon!

Meanwhile here at home people who earned and were promised and deserve a good decent life fall to the end of the line and die hungry. We haven't even touched on the eye opener, New Orleans! Katrina! God damn, it goads me seeing good people treated this way. Our tax dollars had to be used for killing instead of rebuilding the lives of living people in need. This is a sin and a travesty.

Our leaders let them down the way they let the whole country down. Our National Guard is away in some shit hole like sitting ducks, forced to stay the course thanks to Bush the younger. We were crippled without them here at home, just the way we will be in the next disaster.

The decider and his partners in crime are a curse on this nation and the entire world!

Teary eyed, always so teary eyed, eyes fill with salt water ready to burst. Disgusted. So damn disgusted, ready to fight and argue with the ones who won't behave and stop fighting.

Confused. Head so tired and confused, can't understand why my brothers and sisters won't see the light, why don't they demand the truth?

So tired, so very tired of my leaders telling me all these lies, sending off soldiers to kill and die for them, when will it all end?

Worry, so full of worry that the tomorrow that comes will be far worse than it is now. No place to run from this hell that's going to come. Fearful, so afraid of the coming police state that will crush every last drop of freedom we ever had.
