Disgraceful, disgusting, and downright insane

I want to tell you what little it takes these days to make me go off and lose my cool. Here's just one example.
For the last five months while taking my walks I've passed a day care center that has been getting a face lift. Well, number One, I despise day care centers and all they represent but let's not even go there yet. Let me save that for later. Anyway, as I pass this place I notice two foreign workers busting their humps in the hot sun and even on rainy humid days trying to place new beams and spackle in the right places. I see a sign that reads 'We will be opening the new Pumpkin Patch infant day care center in the summer''
Keep in mind I pass this place and watch its progress or lack of progress every day. Each time I pass, I smell mildew and mold. I hope they will do the right thing and clean it up, but even now as the new concrete was poured last month and the entrance is near done, it still reeks! They completely ignored the problem.
So I start to think about the parents who are going to be dropping their precious little ones off when they go to work, and I think to myself, I hope they smell it and ask questions and change their minds and make other arrangements. But guess what? Wen the place opened up last week, there they all were, dropping their kids off and picking them up. Guess their noses don't work.
From all different walks of life, well-off business workers, nurses, construction workers, waitresses -- and I really wondered if they couldn't smell what I could smell. When their babies develop a rash or start wheezing or worse, are they going to figure it out?
Is this why people who are so busy trying to become this American Dream work so hard that they are blind to the things that should be so obvious? Then this feeling began to snowball, and it happened. I went berserk. I started to say to my husband, ''And we wonder why these same sheeple who fell for the bullshit line about The American Dream, the mortgage, the new car. They want it all no matter what!
They don't seem to grasp or care that it takes two people now, who have to go out and bring home two paychecks to do what one check did back in the 50s 60s and 70s.
But the fact is, these people are not complaining that they can't stay home and spend valuable time with their babies. I find that disgraceful, disgusting, and downright insane.
But at the same time, I realize why these same people, the people we all hoped would get outraged at this lunatic President and his out of control gang in Washington, instead just seem to go along not doing a damn thing
about it. I have come to the conclusion that they are brain dead and that there is no hope at all for people who have come to except this way of life. They have become predictable robots.
So I will not wonder why they don't want to know what goes on in another country, even if it has to do with their future. I won't ask why they're disconnected from important thing like the NAFTA superhighway being built, and the New American Union, and outsourcing jobs, and bees disappearing as fast as our basic freedoms. Hey, these people work two jobs and they still can't see the economy going down the sewer?
It all makes sense now. If they didn't complain the minute they were told they had to work like slaves to make ends meet, and to do it they had to leave their three month old firstborn children with strangers, why in the world would anyone think they'd complain about any thing else? To hell with them all!
I will have my revolution with my own kind -- we who are in like mind will have to do it without the sheeple, and in spite of them! We don't need them!
