Thou shalt not what?

by Don Nash, Unknown News      July 23, 2007

Pope Benedict the Sixteenth came out and stated quite categorically, "War is against God." Wow there, Pope-a-baby, really? Old Pope the Catholic Head Homeboy was reciting one of his fabulously famous Sunday Encyclical gizmos and got quite animated when he said what he said.

So let me see if I've got this straight. God (and that would be THE God, as in God Almighty) and war are mutually exclusive, sort of juxtapositional diametrically opposed positions on the old waging war philosophical positioning thingy. Is that right?

Well then, John Hagee of the Christians United For Israel Warmonger-
ing Hysterical Rabble Rousing Association looks sort of stupid about right now. Jeez, John, you lunatic sum-bitch, the Pope says what you're doing is "against" God. How's that grab your old short hairs, eh Johnny boy?

You see, Hagee recently made this rather histrionic screeching tirade about

Surrounded by his "security team", Rev John Hagee, founder and lunatic leader of Christians United for Israel, leaves the U.S. Capitol Building after lobbying Congress to hurry up and start bombing Iran already.
the U.S. "needing" to bomb the bejesus out of Iran. Hagee's ravings seemed more along the lines of lunatic fringe warmongering and conspiracy to commit war crimes, than his wind-baggage of pontification on America's efforts to put the smackdown on Iran.

Christians United For Israel was in the midst of a Washington, D.C. confab, and had attracted all sorts of political demagogues and sycophants for the Puritangelicals' selling out of America for Israel. CUFI attracts simply loads of those Newt Gingrich types, and mercy, they're all just sort of un-American in that really sinister and dangerous kind of anti-American and treasonous manner. Can you all say apartheid and ethnic cleansing? I knew that you could!

Pope Benedict can be kind of quixotic at times. Benny says one clearly Catholic kind of "ex cathedra" sort of thing and then the Pope will turn around and say something that is absolutely lucid, crystal clear, theological, and humane. Wow, I'll bet John Hagee can't for the life of him figure out what the Pope meant by what the Pope said, or whom exactly the Pope was speaking to.

Well, guess what, Hagee, you nut-job, the Pope was speaking DIRECTLY to you! Yes the Pope was. He was speaking to Hagee, Gingrich, and all the little warmongering lunatics bastards that infest our current U.S. Congress. From Orrin 'bone-gangsta' Hatch to John Warner to Carl Levin to Dianne 'war-profiteering' Feinstein to Nancy 'snot' Pelosi to Karl 'Marx' Rove to the King of American Tyranny, our very own G. Bush.

G. Bush got a pipe stuffed up his shoot over the weekend, a colonoscopy. Seems almost poetic, don't it? G. Bush finally knows how the American people feel after almost seven years of the Bush plague. Infestation? Whatever!

War is against God. And the Pope would know. God Himself says, "Thou shalt NOT kill"! I would tend to doubt that God was just having Himself (Herself?) a lark. I'm of the opinion that God meant what God said.

John Hagee and his ilk would do well to take a refresher course in Bible 101, along with G. Bush and our Congress and Newt Gingrich and Joe 'little butcher' Lieberman and hey, we just might be on to something here. If America believes that "in God we trust" crap-o-la, well, God says "Thou shalt NOT kill" and the Pope says "war is against God" and wow-oh-wow-whee! We've gots us a dynamic working here.

G. Bush MUST immediately (and that would be right about now) cease and desist his wars and murder and renditions and detentions and tortures and taking orders from Israel and those evil and icky Puritangelicals. And just like that, sanity returns to American government!

Nah, we're just not that lucky and it mostly doesn't matter what the Pope or God has to say on the subject. After all, G. Bush knows better than God Almighty or the Pope. Ain't that just too bad for 'we the people' and the suffering folk of this island Earth? Yes it is!

Hey Pelosi, what about that impeachment? Come on Nancy, dance for America just once.
