Bush and the Democrats'
danger to America

by Hazel Burke, Unknown News      Aug. 5, 2007

The spectacle of the Democratically-controlled Congress rushing before their summer break to provide President Bush "legal" warrantless spying powers, instead of impeaching him for his past abuses, and voting to give
him vast new sums of money in fiscal year 2008 for his wars and his "Homeland Security" Gestapo forces, boggles my mind and sickens me.

How can we conceive of a group of highly-paid "leaders" such as the Democrats acting so unwisely, in a way that is so obviously contrary to the best interests of America and the American people?

Did the Democrats learn nothing from Bush's actions during the previous six years?

Do the Democrats suffer from "group-think", which is yielding an effective IQ of around 80 (slightly above retarded but solidly subnormal)?

Do the Democrats lack courage? Are they being blackmailed into surrender?

The idea that the U.S. can monetarily afford to continue an indefinite occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan is pure fantasy.

The costs are growing every year and will not total less than $1 trillion under any circumstances.

And the political and moral costs are increasing faster than the Pentagon can ask for more money to blow shit up.
Or, are they like television news anchors, just reading scripts and worrying about their hair, while others who have no concern for America dictate our futures?

I honestly do not know.

But I do know this: By their failure to confront the Bush Administration's illegal acts, by their failure to force course changes prior to the November 2008 elections, Democrats are inviting a worst-case outcome for all of us, a strategic "defeat in detail" in every venue.

To begin to imagine the possible devastation to our hopes, think of the world's second richest man, Warren Buffett, going into a Las Vegas casino and losing all $50 billion in one night -- and then going double-or-nothing, and getting both legs broken by the mob after he loses and cannot pay up. We're talking total rout, and insult on top of injuries.

The facts on the ground reveal that the longer we fight them over there, in their homelands, the more of them vow eternal bloody vengeance against America, and take up arms against the U.S.

There are about one billion Islamic people, plus billions more people in other countries that increasingly hate Bush's policies and blame American voters. Thus, if world population is 6 billion and the US/UK population totals 500+ million, the inevitable long-term result is a minimum of 5 billion enemies who want us stripped of the ability to inflict such horrors on the rest of the world ever again.

So, instead of Bush spending $1 trillion and eliminating terrorism -- both the people and the idea itself -- he has totally squandered that trillion dollars, and at least doubled the size and complexity of the problem. He is not just losing his "war on terror", but the speed of his defeat is accelerating, and new defeats are beckoning in every other area.

Bush and his henchmen are not only losing everywhere militarily, but their mindless approach to government has created the necessary conditions for total strategic devastation of America's economic and monetary systems.

"Free market" to Bush/Cheney means authorizing Republican-friendly corporations to loot and pillage the public -- not just stealing from people, but actually killing them with poisonous, destructive products and various other profit-increasing schemes ... with the Democrats' silent assent (speaking up only so as not to be ignored during annual corporate fundraising exercises.)

Perhaps the economics system will self-destruct prior to January 2009, thanks to pudding-headed mortgage lenders and anti-oversight by bank regulators. Then the Democrats can really blame Bush for all the shit he allowed to happen -- while they meekly voted for every damn thing he demanded.

If Hillary Clinton were running against Satan himself I would not vote for her. And no to Nancy Pelosi, no to Diane Feinstein, no to Chuck Schumer, no to Joe Lieberman, and no to the rest of the mildly retarded herd of cowardly Democratic mice.

The only people more retarded than the Democrats in Congress are the voters who elect these jackasses.
