The North American Union and the real world

by Danny M.

Sept. 10, 2007
 PERMANENT LINK
I am deeply concerned about the coming North American Union and wondering whether you've seen this frightful account or this one. Apparently the state of North Carolina has begun issuing drivers' licenses that are pre-compliant with the coming North American Union. The back of state-issued licenses now depicts the emblem of the North American Union, in holographic form, no doubt with data storage capability embedded under the logo. I urge North Carolina residents to refuse these new plastic emblems of totalitarianism. Imagine the monkey wrench we can throw into the plans for the coming North American Union, if proud patriotic Americans stand up and say no to this effort to rob us of our nationality.

Danny M.

We live in dangerous and outrageous times, Danny. There are people in positions of power who should not be trusted with the powers of their positions, so it is wise to remain ever vigilant -- and yet, cordially and respectfully:

Try not to be afraid of your own frickin' shadow. Don't jump through your bedroom window shrieking in fear every time you hear a noise. Please make some effort not to be a drooling idiot, a whimpering coward terrorized easily by tall tales.

First off, you've sent links from World Net Daily and NewsMax as if they're reliable sources for news. They're not. They're right-wing bullshit websites, mixing news with tall tales into a lumpy cocktail that makes Fox News look fair and balanced.

And please, see if you can obtain a quarter-ounce of common sense. The two logos are similar to each other -- and similar to any image of the earth with North America in the primary position. Whatever the actual existence of plans for a North American Union, every time you see a frickin' globe showing North America it's not necessarily an indication that Canada, Mexico, and the United States are on the verge of a merge.

Also, if there's a picture of a triangle it doesn't necessarily mean the Bilderbergs or Illuminati are watching you from the other side of the pyramid, and if Nicolas Cage is on your TV it doesn't necessarily mean that every plot detail in National Treasure: Book of Secrets is literally true.

Cordially and respectfully: Pull your head out of your ass and live in the real world.

Helen & Harry

Consider yourself invited to speak your mind.

Because we respect peoples' privacy, we do not keep records of friends' and contributors' contact information. This means we can't forward private communications between readers and writers, but we always welcome dialogue for publication.

When we publish incoming emails, we usually edit out the sender's last name, email address, or anything else that would tend to uniquely identify the author (if we slip up, please let us know). But if your email is unambiguously intended only to annoy, insult, or threaten us, we'll publish all the details, and leave it on-line forever.

We're especially interested in hearing and considering different perspectives. All we ask is that you conduct yourself sanely and civilly. For the most productive dialogue, it helps if you'll cite a specific article or concept we've gotten wrong.

You can contact Helen & Harry at <newsuneed at yahoo.com>. If that address ever fails, our back-up email address is <unknownnews at inbox.com>.

But please, don't email us unless you're really and truly, honestly, actually trying to send the publishers of News a communication you're not sending to anyone or everyone else.

Please don't send attachments or other cr*p we don't want.

If you're trying to reach us but getting no reply, it's probably because you've sent us cr*p we don't want, so we're filtering your emails into the trash, unopened and unread.

If you'd like to have your email address unblocked, simply send a sincere apology (from an un-blocked email address).
