This week I listened to music, not news, and was only able to come up with these
shocking fair and balanced breaking news stories.
Child Abuse. Police were called to a home where the residents were suspected of tormenting a child. The child in question was taken by authorities and treated for multiple head wounds. The whole thing was caught on tape.
Animal Cruelty. Police were called to a home where the residents were suspected of repeatedly trying to drown their dog. The whole thing was caught on tape.
Failed Foreign Policy. Hostilities first broke out at a Japanese baseball game. America exported baseball to Japan but something was lost in the translation of ‘Bench clearing brawl’. The whole thing was caught on tape.
The State Department and the Department of Defense are looking at the official English to Arabic translation of ‘soccer riot’.
