Stupid and corrupt Republican leadership

The question of whether or not Senator Larry Craig (R-Idaho) should
resign turns not on whether or
not he is gay. The fact that, according to the
Toilet Police, Craig peered through the door crack
inside the officer's stall, and not just once, but
over a period of minutes, is also not germane to
whether or not Craig should resign.

"Republicans aren't happy with [Sen. Craig]. They want him out of there. A lot of them have stopped talking to him. Some have stopped having sex with him."

Peering into
another person's stall is an assault on privacy,
but we already know that the Senate believes that
the government should be snooping into the lives
of every American, so this is not news; perhaps

was looking for Osama Bin Laden! Or, perhaps
he was attempting a reverse sting operation, trying
to bust a gay cop...
Yeah. Uh huh.
No, the real issue about Larry Craig as a leader
of the American People is his inability to
make a correct judgement when something out of the
ordinary occurs, something not in the Senator's
Handbook. Imagine, a rich Senator spending three
weeks trying to decide whether or not to plead
guilty, unable to even take steps to hire a personal
lawyer to counsel him. And then after unwisely
pleading guilty, when the news came out he hired
himself an attorney! Talk about closing the barn
door after the cows got out.
The man is either
butt stupid or he has severe psychological problems
and should be receiving medical care, not voting
on whether or not to start or end wars.
I do not believe Larry Craig is an exception. It
may well be that the majority of Senators and
Representatives are stunningly unfit for
|
making
effective executive decisions, and suffer from grave
psychological problems that only their official
status keeps hidden. The surprise is that every
once in a while the American newspapers and
television news shows report the crimes and
peccadilloes of these Mental Defectives.
Take Alaskan Senator Ted Stevens. He had his entire
house "remodeled", which was in actuality a
major upgrade that elevated the first floor
and installed an entire other floor beneath it.
He paid a token sum of money, like $70,000, and
when caught red-handed he tried to pretend that he
didn't know that the work was being done below
cost as a form of bribe. But isn't
it more believable that he is
just another rich Republican Senator, grown stupid and
unreliable after long years collecting "contributions" and voting
in accordance with the desires of his contributors?
After more than two centuries of creating the
laws that govern themselves, the American Senate
and House of Representatives have grown stupid
and corrupt, like two-ton hogs living and mating
inside a candy factory. These people are a fucking
joke. All of them.
(And we haven't even discussed
the effects of inbreeding on the degenerate Bush
Clan, wherein each generation is shorter, dumber,
greedier and less able to retain power without
the support of other corrupt forces in the
American establishment.)
