the delusion of empire
and
the ravages of war machines
fueling their engines
on slaughter
produces only atrocity
with a modicum of apathetic apocalypso
ipso facto
paranoid grand designs
so the buildings fell
of their own inertia
how is that so
how does heresy
unravel the national soul
but it’s the lies
propagandistic jingoism
hyper-xenophobic swill
yet still
the silly sheep run
rampant in lines going
nowhere...
nowhere...
straight to
hell is nowhere
isn’t it?
