A twelve step program to overcome slavery addiction:
First step: I admit that I am powerless over the selfish
individualistic beliefs promoted by propaganda, lies and deceit of
the system of oppression. I will not listen to the voices of
oppression seeking to mystify and confuse me and make me act against
the best interests of myself and other innocent beings.
Second step: I accept and believe that mutual support from

a
community of mutually respecting and self- respecting individuals will
restore me to sanity.
Third step: I commit myself to help establish and sustain a
community of mutual care and respect.
Fourth step: I open myself to honest and fearless dialog with
members of my community for the purpose of establishing a moral and
ethical framework for my behavior and the behavior of my community.
|
|
|
Fifth step: I am willing to admit to the wrongs I have done to others
and seek forgiveness from my community as well as offering
forgiveness for others in my community for the wrongs they admit to.
Sixth step: I am convinced that by participating in honest and open
dialog I can improve my character, and the general ethical and
moral standing of my community.
Seventh step: I believe that by committing to open exchange in my
community, everyone will benefit by being better able to participate
in making our lives sacred, peaceful and harmonious.
Eighth step: I intend to search my conscience for instances of harm I
have done to others, and help other members of my community to
identify specific harms they may have done to others.
Ninth step: I resolve to act to reverse the effects of specific
harms I have committed, and assist others in my community to do
likewise, wherever possible.
Tenth step: I affirm a continuing personal commitment to remain
alert to the possibility that intentional or inadvertent harm to
persons may result from my actions or those of my community.
Eleventh step: I will endeavor to remain conscious of the innate
sanctity of mutual support and caring possible in a mutually
supportive community.
Twelfth step: I pledge that, having become aware of the importance of
community to my physical, emotional and spiritual health, I will seek
to influence others to abandon the individualistic, self-seeking path
to slavery and seek community for themselves and all others, so that
we can all begin to live in peace, harmony and abundance without need
to resort to aggression, selfishness, lying and deceit.
