While I have encouraged those who have read my commentaries to boycott the vote and not participate in any way with those who have stolen the voice of the people, there is one exception, and that is Ralph Nader.
Nader is a political outsider and is in no way a friend of Wall Street and Corporate America. Nader, like many of us, understands the negative influence of the big lobbies and special interest groups which have been allowed to plunder and loot our economy and lead us down the |
path of endless war, and he is not afraid to say it. That is much more than any of the present frontrunners, Hilary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John McCain have had to say after a year of campaigning.
Unlike the candidates of the Democratic and Republican Party, Nader tells it like it is. Despite the enthusiastic rhetoric of hope and change coming from the lips of the mainstream candidates, the only change we the people will see is the small change we have left in our pockets after this new gang of thieves get done bailing out their benefactors on Wall Street.
What makes Nader different from all the rest of the Washington insiders is that he has gone after the corporate crooks before and will go after them again. Unlike Nader, the career Washington politicians talk the talk but never walk the walk.
Ralph Nader is the only man who will oppose these bastards. His candidacy can also bring together the many different political parties whose voices have been long excluded from American politics. Although the pandering mainstream media will do everything to sink Nader's campaign as they have in the past, it is important that we support and vote for Nader's candidacy.
Time is rapidly running out for America. We do not have much time left to save our Country from economic depression and the imposition of fascism. Even though Nader's chances of winning the election are impossible, we must look upon our votes for Nader as a protest against the status quo. Therefore, I enthusiastically recommend voting for Nader.
He will not win of course, but he will give us the opportunity to let the corrupt despots in Washington hear our voices once again. If you are concerned with winning no matter who the candidate is, think of the consequences. We must not regard this election as a horserace or a baseball game, but that of which will have profound repercussions for our future and that of our children. A vote for any of the other mainstream candidates will only help quicken the end of what remains of our liberty and economic well being. Resist, vote for Nader!
