America's descent into chaos by Leon Fisher, Unknown News leonjfisher@webtv.net May 26, 2008 Regardless of whether the criminal cabal which has seized the Government of the United States proceeds with their intention to expand the war in the Mideast with an attack upon Iran, it is only a matter of time before the Country goes into a full blown depression. While an expansion of the war into Iran would doubtless speed up the economic ruin of the United States, the die is already cast and there is no turning back. So weakened has the economy of the United States become since the implementation of so called Free Trade, as well as the lifting of regulations governing the excesses of Wall Street, no matter which political party dominates Congress and the White House and regardless of what measures they may implement, it will be
Both of these measures would be highly unpopular to say the least, and a military draft, if put back into place, would breathe new life into the anti-war movement, which has been of late been ignored by both people and press. Therefore, a triple whammy of an economic depression, increased taxation, and a new war accompanied by a draft would bring things to a head, and every American will be directly and negatively affected. This is the unenviable situation the criminal government in Washington faces if it continuos on its present course. By becoming the paid agents of the powerful lobbies and special interests, by ignoring the will of the people they are sworn to serve, the Washington politicians are solely responsible for the present myriad problems which our Nation faces. With each passing day their credibility fades, the latest reason being the use of taxpayer dollars to bail out the Wall Street banks while people lose their homes. As usual the citizenry are made to pay the bill for the failed business ventures of the banks, when it is the banks which should be paying restitution to their victims. Clearly, the situation is becoming more and more unacceptable, and It is folly to believe that the next election will end the war and restore our once healthy and dynamic economy. This is not going to happen, as the last major elections have demonstrated beyond question. As things deteriorate, the political thugs in Washington will become more and more desperate to retain their power. The growing militarization of America's police forces and the passing of even more draconian laws are proof of this. The dominoes are falling fast and nothing less than a miracle will reverse America's decent into chaos. © by the author.
