Got NADS?

by Mary Ann M.

I expect NADS to do well politically over the next four years. What are NADS? Any politician who is Not A Democrat.

During the past eight years the Democrats played Rope A Dope and courageously voted with Bush 90% of the time. They funded every "emergency" war funding measure and stampeded to
The Democratic strategy has been to allow the Bush administration to do anything and everything, even when that meant destroying the Constitution and economy -- and now they expect us to believe that the 2008 election VINDICATES their leadership over that of the Republicans.

They say the voters have spoken?

More like a mugging victim screaming for help -- and then being beaten and robbed by the police.
the roll calls to shred the Constitution.

When Bush set up gulags around the world, disappearing, torturing and murdering suspects accused of terrorism and terrorist inclinations...the Democrats didn't do a Goddamned thing. The US had prison guards ass-raping Iraqis and making porno movies and the Democrats didn't do jack sh*t. These people are worse than Republicans because of their total hypocrisy and cowardliness. Worthless boot-licking parasites...

Economically, the Democrats helped make it harder for individuals to declare bankruptcy while making it impossible for big companies to go bankrupt -- in fact they just went against voter

demands to not bail out Wall Street and helped Bush dole out more than $3 trillion to the richest corporations, share- and bond-holders.

Thus, we see that the Democratic strategy has been to allow the Bush administration to do anything and everything, even when that meant destroying the Constitution and economy -- and now they expect us to believe that the 2008 election VINDICATES their leadership over that of the Republicans. They say the voters have spoken? More like a mugging victim screaming for help -- and then being beaten and robbed by the police.

So, expect the Republicans to talk a good game about frugality, morality, and patriotism. In four years tens of millions of voters will have forgotten the Republican incompetence which was demonstrated from 2001 to 2009 and they'll be more than ready to dump the Democrats. More than ready!

Thus, the shell game in Washington D.C. Fake choices between candidates pretending to be from different parties but actually one.

Well, so much for optimism. Pop goes that balloon. You are of course pretty much correct, though you might have the timeline a little too harsh. I suspect it'll take about six years before the NADS movement leads to Republican control of the Congress, and I expect those six years to be a lot better than the previous six. But, yeah, beyond my quibbling, no quibbles.

Near as I can ascertain the difference between your average Republican in Congress and your average Democrat in Congress is the difference between a gang of fascists and a gaggle of soft-spoken go-along to get-along mealy-mouthed *ss-kissing Eddie Haskell fascist enablers and apologists.

Comment:   (11/12/2008)   Eddie Haskell deserves better than this. Really. Although the resemblance between Tom Dachele and Eddie is striking.   The Blue Rajah      PERMANENT LINK

Comment:   (11/12/2008)   Got NADS? No, I've got gonads. Too bad the Democrats don't.   SirJ      PERMANENT LINK
