You have one more chance to escape

by Pavel C.       Wednesday, July 23, 2008         PERMANENT LINK

Here is a righteous article (w/ pictures!) about how Americans have been hornswoggled by their government, and how it is likely to prove to become a far worse ream-out before things get better. The key point is that the data we are being given by the government are all lies. And scientifically speaking, GIGO — Garbage In, Garbage Out.

If US policies are based on lies, and the electorate believe the lies, and thus do not demand the truth, then our problems grow and grow. And grow. Until the system breaks and an actual crisis develops which provides political cover for the politicians, who caused the problems in the first place, to ride in and "save us" once again. (Shit, I am in rant mode again.) Anyway, the article is United States' unfolding financial and economic nightmare.

By the way, last week two different Unknown News Dialoguers pointed out the opportunity in buying shares of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. Their words were prophetic — the shares have more than doubled in just one week! I hope that they had the courage of their convictions and placed major wagers, and that they find an opportune moment to take their profits and escape! Because escape is what this all boils down to now.

The global markets are temporarily recovering from their massive fears of things to come.

This process will continue for a few weeks, or perhaps even a few months.

During that time we are, as individuals, in a state of economic "grace" (sins forgiven, chance of redemption provided), and we can use that time exactly the way the Wall Street insiders are using that time — to escape from our unwise choices of the past and find safe havens.

For example, if the US dollar does stage a little recovery and the price of oil falls, and gold goes down too, then we will have been given yet one more chance to exchange US dollars for things of value, such as Gold, Oil and Drugs (i.e. Bush's GOD.)
We are in perilous times and we're not playing bingo at a Baptist Sunday School picnic — or "ring toss" with Howard Stern :-) The time has arrived where our actions — or our inactions amounting to de facto action by negligence — may well be life-altering.

For example, in the week since the bail-out plan was announced, Congress has finally arrived at a legislative plan... which requires a mere 600+ pages to define. As part of the plan they will be increasing the national debt ceiling by another $800 BILLION to $10.6 trillion. That means that during the 8 years of the Bush Regime's horror show of incompetence, the national debt has increased by $750 billion a year — which does not include the Social Security trust fund raiding, or the skyrocketing accrued, unfunded liabilities.

What Congress is saying is that it is possible that the FNM/FRE bailout will cost hundreds of billions, maybe 800 billion. Or more, even. (I know that the CBO has said that the bailout would likely cost only $25 billion, but I also know that number is obviously utter bullshit.)

What I am stating here is that even though we are all very tired of this constant barrage of government propaganda, and their three-ring circus of nonsense and bungling, we must continue to pay attention and work hard for survival at a personal level (including the needs of our friends, families and communities.)

My own view, as of July 22 at 10PM, is that the global markets are temporarily recovering from their massive fears of things to come. This process will continue for a few weeks, or perhaps even a few months. During that time we are, as individuals, in a state of economic "grace" (sins forgiven, chance of redemption provided), and we can use that time exactly the way the Wall Street insiders are using that time — to escape(!) from our unwise choices of the past and find safe havens.

For example, if the US dollar does stage a little recovery and the price of oil falls, and gold goes down too, then we will have been given yet one more chance to exchange US dollars for things of value, such as Gold, Oil and Drugs (i.e. Bush's GOD.)

I REPEAT: Right now Wall Street insiders are busy doing the old "pump-and-dump" — go on TV sounding like Pollyanna and then return to island lairs and sell to suckers.
